Morning Huddle Sheet for Dental and Orthodontic Offices (Free Printable)
By Blake Hickey, founder of Double Jaw Marketing. For practice owners, office managers and the whole team. Updated October 24, 2026.
The top jaw of the Double Jaw Method is the thinking. Inside an office, a lot of that thinking happens in the first ten minutes of the day. The tone the team starts with is the tone the phone gets answered in.
This sheet runs a short morning huddle: who is coming in, which calls need a callback, who owns what, and how the team wants the day to feel. Print one per day, fill it in standing up, and keep it at the front desk.
Ten minutes, same time every morning, before the first patient. One person leads and writes. Everyone else answers out loud. Keep patient details to first names or initials, and keep the sheet out of patient view.
Why it's a top jaw sheet
Top jaw work is deciding before doing. A huddle is the team deciding, together, what today needs before the phones start.
What the bottom jaw gets from it
When the morning is clear, the action part of the day runs better: calls get answered the same way, follow-ups do not slip, and reviews and referrals get asked for on purpose instead of by luck.
Morning huddle sheet
