Why Blake

The patient's side, from inside it.

Your attendees see patients all day. Blake went through adult braces, SARPE and double jaw surgery himself, and he has worked in marketing since 2006.

So the room hears both halves at once: what a patient is thinking before the first call, and what the practice does about it.

The talks

Three talks. Pick one, or ask for a mix.

Each runs 15 minutes, or 50 minutes with a little time for Q&A. The Method is named after Blake's own surgery: the top jaw is the thinking, the bottom jaw is the action.

Blake's own panoramic X-ray after double jaw surgery, shared with his permission and shown in grayscale.

Marketing

The Double Jaw Method™

Awareness and action marketing for a practice: who the right patient is, then getting in front of them and following up.

The room walks away with

  • Who their right patient is: the case type, the towns and the worries that patient brings to the first call
  • The words those patients type into Google, and the questions they ask AI search, before they call
  • What that patient needs to hear first, and how to get in front of them and follow up
Team communication

The Double Jaw Mindset

Lessons from years of working in, for and with agencies, from someone who will tell you he isn't perfect either.

The room walks away with

  • How the way leaders start the day carries to the whole team
  • One place for team communication, with clear handoffs
  • A way out of the blame game
Both

Method + Mindset

A mix of both: the marketing plan and the team that answers the phone, built to work together.

The room walks away with

  • The marketing plan and the phone team pulling in the same direction

Good for a longer session or a practice team.

For organizers

What organizers ask first.

What should I send?

The date, the audience and the format. You'll get back the talks that fit.

What formats do you offer?

Keynotes, workshops and panels. Talks run 15 minutes, or 50 minutes with a little time for Q and A.

What does a talk cost?

Fees are quoted per event, after the intro call. For events outside South Florida, travel and lodging are arranged with the event.

Where do you speak?

In person across Florida, on Zoom, or farther when travel and lodging are covered. Each event is scoped on the intro call.

Do your talks carry CE credit?

No. Blake hosts and speaks in The Florida Bar Business Law Section CLE series, but his talks for dental audiences are not approved for dental CE credit. If your event needs credit, plan this as a non-credit session before you book.

Does a talk cover advertising rules?

Yes, as a topic, never as legal advice. Blake is not a lawyer. Marketing inside the rules covers working within your board's advertising standards and the ad platforms' policies. Your counsel has the final word.

Can I book Blake for my own practice team?

Yes. Method + Mindset is built for a practice team: the marketing plan and the team that answers the phone, working together. Send a speaking inquiry with your date. If you'd rather start with your own marketing, book a free 15-minute review.
